(who else would it be really?)
I found my camera. Its the one my sister gave me after my screen cracked. Its a Kodak Easy Share from at least 4 years ago.. I think. Its a C813 with 3x optical zoom. Nothing fancy, it takes pictures. Recently I discovered Carin, from Round the Twist. As of tonight, right now, I'm only on episode 103, from Aug, 2011. I was on YouTube and I saw her stash room reorganizing video and there were all these episode numbers. so i followed her back to episode 1 and began watching from there. She inspired me to actually clean out/reorganize my own craft/stash room. I moved into my new house (closed Dec 23 spent first night Jan 9) I haven't gotten my craft room in order. I decided it was time.
She also inspired me to start blogging again. Which I had planned on doing but you all see how well that turned out. I knew I didn't want to do a video blog because then I'd have look presentable. and yea since I do my blogging before I go to bed, me an my pj's aren't gonna be in video form. Sorry. :) I realized that I dont have to blog everyday. Having a weekly blog is perfectly fine. Ok. new goal. Blog once a week.
This will force me to knit more regularly, organize my craft room so I can show you all pictures. And overall give me a sense of accomplishment.
So first off I'll tell you what I've been knitting on.
Citron shawl by Hilary Smith Callis I'm using US size 7, 4.5 mm, needles with Mountain Color Bearfoot in color mountain tango. (60% Superwash Wool, 25% Mohair, 15% Nylon) I stopped the fourth section short, at row 14 then started the second increase row before the ruffled edging. I'm probably going to knit until I run out, Might do the bind off in some Blue Sky Alpaca Silk that I have lying around. Who knows?I'm also knitting the Dahlia Cardigan, by Heather Zoppetti.
I didn't care for the front so I tried to make it a more regular v-neck cardigan front. I decreased two one stich along the collar and one near wear the arm and bottom of collar were joined together. I finished one side and put it on waste yarn. I'm working on the other side and I'm going to see , a) how much it V's b) how much length I need to be able to close it. and yeah. We'll see. I am trying to get it done for graduation (for my two's at the daycare).
That's mostly it for CURRENT works in progress. I have so many items on my cue its not even funny. And I have some projects that are hibernating and really need to come out and play.
I'm sorry for not including any pictures. It is about 9:40 pm here and I have church in the morning. Plus its dark out and the light in my house is not to good. I promise to have pictures of all my wips, both current and hibernating uo tomorrow or Monday so you and I can see what I've got to work on. I might show you the stuff I'm planning as well. But who knows, I might have something finished to show you!
See you guys no later than Monday
And as Carin says, "Happy Knitting"
